Community Advisory Committee, a model of good practice!

Dear ones, we are extremely happy to share with you a piece of the activity we carry out during this period, for the people from 2 vulnerable communes, Valea Seacă, Bacău County and Dimăcheni, Botoșani County. What have we done so far in these communities? First of all, we created a Community Consultative Committee both in Valea Seacă and in Dimăcheni, to empower the community in the decision-making process. We want to promote Community Advisory Committees as an example of good practice, a model that can be successfully adopted by other communities, because the Community Advisory Committee is, in fact, the united voice of the community, the entity that knows the problems of the community. involves identifying solutions by participating in decision-making consultative meetings.

The project is implemented by Star of Hope Romania Foundation in partnership with Association of Roma Bears from Dagata with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund Romania, programme funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
